Sammy Schaub is a senior who decided to join the Occidentalist staff this year. She joined Newspaper as an extra class for her final year in high school to try something new. She wanted to see the different ways of writing stories and learn new skills. She’s looking for something to help direct her to what she wants to do in the future, so joining the newspaper has been a great experience for her. Sammy is a staff writer and enjoys writing stories about sports. She has a strong passion for sports, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling to see new things.
