The 2025 Japan trip that will take place over spring break has caught the attention of many students looking to travel abroad. The trip features taking a look into Japan’s culture and history, as well as seeing many famous tourist attractions.
“I’m looking forward to seeing all the castles and shrines, all of the major landmarks, and that sort of stuff,” Ash Gagnon, a junior planning on going on the trip in 2025, said.
The organizer of the trip, English teacher Aimee Cole, has scheduled many activities to make sure everyone who’s going will get to experience Japan to its fullest.
“We’re gonna visit the National Peace Park, we’re going to Mount Fuji, we’re going to the Bamboo Forest, we’re gonna see several shrines, we’re gonna enjoy city life in Tokyo and I added on an anime workshop,” Cole said.
The trip will be during spring break in 2025 and will be 11 days in total. Though Cole does not know everyone that will be going, there are a few people who will most certainly be on the trip.
“So far, Megan Olson, who used to work in our LMC, [Kelly] Rintala, and [Karlee] Tenbusch will be going on the trip,” Cole said.
Though the deadline to get the $200 discount on the trip has expired, students are still able to sign up whenever they’d like.
“My mother lived in Japan for over two years teaching conversational English, and I want to have the same experience she had, because ever since I was little, I wanted to go to Japan based on her stories,” Gagnon said.
