Arielle Jean is a senior who joined the Occidentalist staff in 2020 as a political columnist in order to continue her involvement in educating herself on political issues, and to gain experience in communicating her opinions in a journalism setting. She will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall following her senior year, where she plans to study chemical engineering and continue her involvement in political activism. In her free time, she skis, runs, mountain bikes and goes camping with her friends.
