Ashley McFadden, Editor-in-Chief

Ashley McFadden joined The Occidentalist as a sophomore in the 2019-2020 school year. She was added to the Editorial Board her first year and became a page designer her second year. Now she's a Co-editor in chief. She joined the newspaper because she enjoys writing and wanted to improve those skills. She volunteers through Kiwanis Key Club and has made the honor roll with a 4.0 for the past three years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing fictional stories, and hanging out with her family, though it has become hard to find time for most things with a full course load and AP classes.
