Ava Whinnery is a freshman and this is her first year in newspaper. She is a staff writer who enjoys the outdoors, shopping, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. She joined newspaper because she enjoys writing and would like to have more skills and experience. She wants to continue taking the class throughout her high school years.
